Web Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Tevera is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. As a product team, we are working to continually learn about accessibility standards and improve the user experience for everyone.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Tevera is conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

As the Tevera product continues to improve and our functionality expands year-over-year, we will continue to prioritize accessibility for all users.

Accessibility Timeline:

In 2019, Tevera released the mobile and accessible version of the Timesheets workspace for students.

In 2020, Tevera developed the rest of the accessible student experience including assignments, site placement, communications, and help. All of these environments were designed to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA. After development, we hired a third party vendor to conduct multiple accessibility audits of the student experience and to write a VPAT. This initial audit uncovered a handful of areas where improvements were needed to meet guidelines. Our designers and developers continued to learn more about accessibility standards, and worked to remediate the remaining issues.

In 2023, we worked with a third party again to conduct a multiple accessibility audit to ensure that the Tevera continues to meet accessibility requirements. Again, we were given a number of areas for improvement and have updated the product accordingly to meet guidelines.

Tevera’s student experience now fully meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA and 508 Standards.
