Standards and Rubrics
At the beginning of your assessment journey with Tevera, we’ll identify the standards and requirements your students need to meet. Standards may be accrediting body standards; program-specific Key Performance Indicators or Student Learning Outcomes; or state-mandated standards. You may even be tracking outcomes against a number of different standards, concurrently! We’ll build all of these in Tevera so that all of your student assessment data can be linked back to these.
Next, the requirements that make up these standards will be aligned to rubrics so that students can be evaluated on demonstrable criteria with a consistent rating scale. In some cases, the rubric criteria may match a requirement exactly. In other cases, one requirement may be addressed by multiple criteria. In other cases, multiple requirements may be addressed by one criterion. You’ll have optimal flexibility to set this up in the way that makes most sense for your data collection needs!
Finally, the rubric criteria are dispersed across forms so that they can be utilized at various assessment points throughout the program. This report produces an excel spreadsheet, making it easy for you to share your assessment plan with accrediting bodies and program stakeholders. To partner with you in your assessment process, we’ve also created an assessment gaps report.
